Lando Norris' first win in Formula 1!
What an incredible drive from Lando Norris at the 2024 Miami Grand Prix! 🇺🇸 The McLaren driver was running in 6th in the opening stages of the race with team-mate Oscar Piastri running in 2nd place but Lando was on a charge and making his medium tyres last. Max Verstappen had already pitted for fresh tyres when the safety car came out, perfectly timed for Lando to get a quick stop for fresh hard tyres and he dealt with the restart perfectly, building a gap between him and 2nd place Max Verstappen. Lando kept setting fastest lap of the race and we all watched nervously until he took the chequered flag to take his maiden victory in Formula One. A truly well deserved win and hopefully the first of many.
